Founded in Autumn 2020 by two military spouses, Finders Keepers Cat Rescue set out with the goal of helping to reduce the stray cat population in Montgomery County.  For the past two years, it has remained small but mighty in its efforts, including partnering with other animal organizations, educating on TNR (trap, neuter, return) efforts and other resources for members of the community, and recently undertaking the treatment of foster cats diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis).  The organization's ongoing goal is to continue to take in stray cats and kittens to alleviate strain on local animal control resources and find loving "furever" homes for these resilient felines.
