The Sunset Rotary club was Chartered March 2013, to allow business professionals the opportunity to attend Rotary club meetings at a time that best fits into their busy schedules. Life happens…due to changes in work schedules, a new meeting time allowed another opportunity for professionals to stay involved in Rotary. It also opened the door for many new Rotarians who are now able to become a part of Rotary. Having a third club in Clarksville allows current Rotarians another option for a make-up meeting.

Although Rotary clubs develop autonomous service programs, all Rotarians worldwide are united in a campaign for the global eradication of polio. The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and others who share its vision of a better world. Since 1947, the Foundation has awarded more than US$1.1 billion in humanitarian and educational grants, which are initiated and administered by local Rotary clubs and districts.
